CSW: Invitation to Share Your Story!

Ecumenical Women at the 63rd UN Commission on the Status of Women

Here's how YOU can participate!

At Ecumenicalwomenun.org we have a blog where we would love your contribution during CSW! Please share your stories with us! Take advantage of the variety of ways to engage in communicating about what is happening at CSW to all of our networks "back home."

Write a brief reflection and/or prayer, based on what you heard, saw and experience each day and email it to: ecumenicalwomen@gmail.com. You can also send a photo of an event or meeting that you attended to this same email address.

What is a blog?

"In simple terms, a blog is a web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so your visitors can read what's new. Then they comment on it or link to it or email you." - www.blogger.com

The best blog posts are brief (a few paragraphs at most), that share stories, and have some visual element.

Pictures:

Ecumenical Women has no official photographer - we are all photographers! Email a few pictures to ecumenicalwomen@gmail.com (small number of photos only). You can also upload your photos to your social media and tag us! For us to be able to share them on our sites, you will need to make sure your photo settings are public (it needs to have the small globe icon beside the photo and not one of one or two people).

Facebook:

Like and Follow the Ecumenical Women on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/ecumenicalwomen. Post about CSW and tag @EcumenicalWomen in your posts and pictures. Use the hashtags #EWCSW and #CSW63

Twitter:

Follow Ecumenical Women on Twitter at: www.twitter.com/ecumenicalwomen. Follow @UNWomen, @UNCSW, @ecumenicalwomen. Use hashtags #CSW63 and #EWCSW.

Thursdays in Black:

Join with us on Thursdays during CSW by wearing black to protest Gender Based Violence. We will take a photo together after chapel. Post and tag photos of yourself on Thursdays, wearing your black, with the hashtag: #Thursdaysinblack and #Linkup2endgbv
