Day#7 of the 16 Days of Activism is also World AIDS Day. “In some regions, women who are exposed to intimate partner violence are 50% more likely to acquire HIV than women who are not exposed” (amfar.org -The Foundation for AIDS Research 2019).
Let us stand with UN Women, and the global community to call for & work towards the rights of women and girls to have access to HIV services that are free of violence, discrimination & stigma.
